Orkot Marine Bearings - Stand 2174

Orkot Marine Bearings have all main approvals and run wet or dry.

Orkot TLMM Marine bearings on show at SMM have approvals from all the main classification societies for use as rudder bearings and water lubricated stern tube bearings.

These approvals include the latest options for greaseless operation; for example rudder carrier bearings.

The allowable bearing pressure for rudder applications has gone up considerably over the last years. Typically Orkot is now approved for 10 or even 15 N/mm2 (against 5.5 N/mm2 for traditional bronze).

With 25 years experience, Orkot has records of over 1000 vessels worldwide fitted with its bearings. Extensive stocks and a global network of agents and distributors make Orkot TLM Marine available within 24 hours for shipowners and repair yards.

Orkot’s engineers will be providing technical assistance in selecting the best bearing material for improved bearing service life in marine applications including rudders, stern shafts, stabilisers, mooring systems and deck machinery.
