cover guard® is one of the worlds leading flame retardant temporary protection system. It is used mainly during the construction and refit of cruise ships. While in dry-dock, cover guard® offers turnkey solutions for protection of all horizontal and vertical surfaces. The main areas where cover guard® is used include, carpet protection, furniture protection, window protection, glass protection, deck protection, bulkhead protection and many other expensive finishes. cover guard® has a new fire curtain product which can also double as a welding blanket. This product offers maximum protection during hot work and can also offer a flameproof protection required to cover engines and for fire barriers. IMPROVED SURFACE PROTECTIONcover guard® has been developed to protect any interior or exterior surface against damage during construction and work activity. Using this hardwearing range of products, surfaces can be protected from foot and wheeled traffic for just a few days or up to several months. cover guard® will also provide impact resistance and can help to safeguard against damage from dropped objects. Unlike traditional products like hardboard, paper and cardboard, the cover guard® range is both resistant and impervious to most types of liquid including many oils, chemicals and solvents. Puncture resistant, low slip, anti trip, anti static, and UV resistant, cover guard® provides an effective alternative to other temporary protection methods. Supplied in roll form and in individual cartons, cover guard® is easy to store and transport, with one roll replacing a pallet of board materials, and light enough to be handled by one or two men. cover guard® is extremely quick to fit, especially important on today's tight schedules, reducing the labour time spent fitting an important item. In addition to speed of fitting, cover guard® does not require any specialist labour to cut and fit the material, thus ensuring that higher cost labour is used in other areas during work, further reducing the cost of installation. Overall, cover guard® ensures that effective protection can be laid in the minimum amount of time with the least amount of effort. Environmentally friendly, cover guard® is manufactured from 100% virgin LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) and therefore is completely recyclable through normal methods. In addition, because of its durability, heavier grades of cover guard® can be re-used a number of times. cover guard® can be used to protect almost any surface found on today's vessels. Our materials have been used to protect carpets, vinyl, lino, ceramic tiles, marble, windows, other glass finishes, weather decks, teak decks to name but a few.
