Hellbergs - Marine Fire Doors

Hellbergs was founded in 1950 in Sweden by Kurt Hellberg, as a facility for making heavy security doors for air raid shelters. In 1955, we made our very first fire test for steel doors to the building industry.

In the 1960s, we began to manufacture marine fire doors for the ship and offshore industries. One of our prominent early projects was working for the famous Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) liner. Since then, we have delivered marine fire doors to every kind of vessel, including mega yachts, including M/Y Octopus, and cruise ships, such as M/S The World. .

Today, Hellbergs International is the R&D and sales company for Hellbergs' marine fire doors. These doors are produced by various licensed manufacturers around the world in close co-operation with Hellbergs.

Our aim and ambition is that Hellbergs shall always be known for high quality and aesthetically pleasing marine fire doors – doors you can rely on.
