Hellbergs - Marine Fire Doors, Gastight Doors, Watertight Doors and Weathertight Doors

Hellbergs was founded in 1950 in Sweden by Kurt Hellberg, as a facility for making heavy security doors for air raid shelters. In 1955, we made our very first fire test for steel doors to the building industry.

In the 1960s, we began to manufacture marine fire doors for the ship and offshore industries. One of our prominent early projects was working for the famous Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) liner.

Our aim and ambition is that Hellbergs shall always be known for high quality and aesthetically pleasing marine doors – doors you can rely on.

Hinged and sliding interior marine fire doors

Hellbergs' marine fire door range consists of both hinged and sliding interior fire doors. They range from the lowest C-class to the highest A-class, and can be offered in a number of various alternatives. We can also offer fire resistant semi-watertight marine fire doors.

All our marine fire doors are tested and approved to IMO 754 (18) FTP code part 3 standards.

Watertight and weather-tight doors

Hellbergs can offer a variety of watertight, weather-tight and spray-tight doors and hatches. Different closures such as individual clips, single lever or wheel-operated are available.

Along with our marine fire doors, we also offer a number of various hardware options, both for new marine fire doors and for the replacement of old hardware for existing doors. These hardware options include:
