Antti-Teollisuus Oy owns Wiurila Marine (WM), a company that specialises in producing marine fire and interior doors of demanding quality and design. Experience, professional skill and the latest sheet metal processing technology have opened the doors to WM. Our references include a large variety of vessels, from luxury cruise ships to bulk carriers and other smaller vessel types.

RELIABLE PROJECT DELIVERIES AND EXPERTISE

WM supplies doors to a large range of customers in the shipbuilding industry. Our clients include shipyards, manufacturers of modular and pre-fabricated cabins and bathrooms, turnkey manufacturers, service / maintenance companies, and shipping and cruise companies.

As a result of successful cooperation with our demanding customers we are able to present fine examples of our work cruising the oceans of the world.

WM doors are divided into two categories - WMD B-Series and WMD C-Series.

WMD B-SERIES

The WMD B-series includes B-class doors in fire classes B-0, B-15 and B-30. Other products are:

• B-15 single leaf (standard)
• B-15 single leaf dB (sound reduction)
• B-15 single leaf dB(V) with ventilation grill
• B-15 double leaf
• B-15 service single leaf
• B-30 single leaf dB/L (sound reduction)
• B-30 double leaf dB(DL) Rw, max = 48dB

All door types are hinged with SS lift hinges. The doors are equipped with a large variety of approved locks and locking systems, closing systems, and decorative details like embossed patterns and approved surface materials (pvc, SS, paint, laminate and decorative patterns and panels).

WMD C-SERIES

The WMD C-series is basically similar to the B-series. The only difference between C- and B-class is that C-series doors are not type-approved. Technically the C-class has the same high-quality characteristics as the B-series doors.

C-class products include:

• Bathroom and wardrobe doors
• Swing doors
• Special hinged and sliding doors
• WMD Light (light weight doors)

The technical specifications of the C-class doors are similar to those of the B-series.

FREEDOM FOR DESIGNERS

Doors, especially cabin doors, are an important part of a ship's interior design. WM's efficient and modern machinery makes customised designs possible. WM gives designers the possibility to create a unique interior architecture.

FIRE SAFETY

WM doors are tested and type-approved according to latest IMO and SOLAS requirements.

B15/B30 door type approvals:

• IMO res. MSC 61(67) Annex 1 Part 3 and Annex 2
• IMO res. A754(18) B-class division
• USCG 164.136 according to MRA

C-class approvals:

• IMO Res. MSC 61(67) Annex 1 Parts 1, 2 and 5 Surface flammability, smoke and toxicity

QUALITY ASSURANCE

WM doors are designed and manufactured with CAD / CAM systems and machinery. Doors are manufactured using latest sheet-metal processing technology to guarantee best possible product quality.

Manufacturing is done according to ISO9000 quality system. Manufacturing has also the (Marine Equipment Directive) MED module E issued by Det Norske Veritas (NB0575).
