28 October 2005

(Sandefjord, October 24, 2005): MultiPlus Solutions AS is experiencing growth in the ERP market. The six-month figures for 2005 show a turnover of 24.8 MNOK, in comparison to 20.2 MNOK in 2004. The EBITA-result ended at 4.7 MNOK. A contract with ColorLine is among the projects contributing to the positive results, a logistics solution worth 10 MNOK. Furthermore, MultiPlus Solutions had a breakthrough in the Chinese market in October, signing a contract with TTS Marine a leading manufacturer of cranes.

MultiPlus Solutions AS shows steady progress and growth in the ERP market. In 2004, the turnover ended at 38.4 MNOK, about the same level as 2003 (37.3 MNOK). However, the EBITA for 2004 was below zero – minus 1.9 MNOK.

Incoming orders secure an optimistic and positive situation before the second half of 2005. Recently, Frank Mohn Services penned a deal with MultiPlus Solutions to implement a complete version of the ERP-suite at the Houston office. The contract confirms that MultiPlus is highly competitive in the international market. The installation will be done through a web server, placed in the headquarters, transferring the software to Houston. Similar methods are used in other projects.

Fiskerstrand Verft joined the long list of customers by signing a contract for the shipyard solution, a package that has become a standard in the maritime segment. Umoe Schat Harding has decided to upgrade to a newer version of MultiPlus, after evaluating competing ERP-systems.

'Nothing is free in this market, and that is why we appreciate customers who choose MultiPlus after both use and evaluation', says Sales and Marketing Director Kåre Pettersen at MultiPlus Solutions AS.

Kleven Maritime Gruppen is also expanding its use of MultiPlus. The initial contract was signed in 2003, a huge project worth more than 7 MNOK. Recently, they decided to expand the use of MultiPlus to locations in Ulsteinvik, Førde and Florø.

The Swedish truck-manufacturer Atlet has given MultiPlus Solutions renewed confidence, and is moving forward with a pre-study to prepare installations. Pettersen also expects that several offers will become contracts during 2005. 'The current optimism in Norwegian industry gives results for IT-businesses as well', he says.
