MultiPlus Solutions Enters into Partnership Agreement with the RFID Innovation Center

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) allows items to be identified through radio signals. Compared to bar codes, this provides data scanning with a whole new flexibility. MultiPlus Solutions signs the partnership agreement with the recently opened RFID Innovation Center in Oslo/Norway to ensure that their customers continue to stay in front and gain valuable benefits from the new technology.
MultiPlus Solutions owns and delivers the ERP system MultiPlus. MultiPlus Logistics and MultiPlus Middleware are two of the key modules in the solution. Today, items or property are identified with bar codes when travelling to their final destination, which requires that the bar code reader be pointed directly towards the bar code. Using RFID, the unit is identified via radio signals, providing a lot more flexibility. MultiPlus is already capable of managing the RFID technology.
