SevenCs stands for state-of-the-art digital cartography. Since 1992 we have been producing digital charts according to standards of the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) and ECDIS software complying with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) performance standards for electronic charts. MARINE GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMSYears of experience in consultancy for public services and industry have earned SevenCs the reputation as the expert for marine geographical information systems in the fields of:
SevenCs has a long record of cooperation with Hydrographic Offices around the world, and has leading manufacturers of commercial and military navigational equipment as major customers. EC2007 ECDIS KERNEL: ECDIS SOFTWARE DEVELOPER KIT (SDK)EC2007 is an SDK that allows companies and organisations to build their own applications. EC2007 SDK complies with IMO performance standards for ECDIS, IHO standards S-52/S-57/S-60/S-63, IEC 61174, STANAG 4564 and STANAG 7170. Several ECDIS applications using EC2007 have been type-approved by the Hydrographic Agency of Germany (BSH), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Qinetiq (UK). The open concept of EC2007 is one of the big advantages for the users. It is grounded on international standards so no application based on EC2007 will force a user into a proprietary solution. Supported data formats:

ORCA MASTER: ELECTRONIC CHART SYSTEM (ECS)ORCA Master assists the navigator with all kinds of chart work such as route planning and chart updating. It is produced in accordance with the international standards set by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). ORCA Master is based on the EC2007 ECDIS Kernel, which is also the basis for type approved ECDIS systems meeting the IEC 61174 standards. Supported data formats:
ORCA Master software features GPS and DGPS receivers or other position sensors (NMEA 0183 V2.0). It also includes interfaces to standard AIS NMEA (IEC 61993-2) and R3 AIS (GP&C) transponders. The display shows ARPA and AIS targets and adjusts to differing light conditions, automatically loading ENCs depending on display centre position and scale. The ORCA Master system has anti-grounding functionality based on ENCs and can check and apply vector and raster chart updates. It has navigational functions for distance and bearing calculations and includes the World Magnetic Model (WMM 2000) for magnetic declination. ORCA Master also includes a built-in ship simulator. Included in ORCA Master is the SevenCs' world data set. It displays 200m contours plus depth data with colours graded every 1,000m, tidal arrows from 0.5kn onwards, time zones, international borders, rivers and bodies of water, names and nations.
