Diesel control units (DCUs) are the basic building blocks of the Marine Pro system. The DCU410 and the DCU408 are the central elements, with many additional modules available to provide flexibility and expandability.

Engine or genset protection and information-accessing systems

The Marine Plus range provides full protection, control and monitoring via two types of DCUs. The DCU 305R2 (generating set) and DCU 305A2 (propulsion) are designed for mechanical engines, whilst the DCU 305R3 is designed for engines with a J1939 datalink. Both are simple to integrate and have user-friendly interfaces.

They possess fully functional control and monitoring facilities with configurable analogue and digital input and outputs using a free Windows-based software tool. A large number of inputs and outputs are available.

Expandable using several differing modules dependant upon the functionality required, the Marine Plus range (formally branded DCU305) is a cost-effective, proven system to protect the ship owner's investment. Available with a remote panel option for simple installations, the Marine Plus range of products is today's benchmark for engine or genset protection and information-accessing systems.

Auto-Maskin supplies a range of budget marine diesel engine and marine generating set controllers designed to be used in unclassed applications, or for small units where full certification not required. Rugged and appropriately functioned, this range builds upon the Auto-Maskin reputation for reliability and durability. Pre-wired control cabinets

Auto-Maskin have developed a significant capacity to take the components of their various marine systems and incorporate them cost-effectively into pre-wired cabinets.

Whether it is a series of existing designs from ten to hundreds of units per year, or a unique new design furnished by the delivery partner or custom-designed by Auto-Maskin, the integrity of design and production is assured. These products are ISO 9000-qualified, with sophisticated automated testing which takes place prior to delivery to ensure a 'right first time' delivery.

Additionally, extension harnesses from the pre-wired cabinets to the on engine / generator-set harnesses are included in the scope of supply as required

Remote telemetry and fleet data management

Auto-Maskin has extensive experience of taking data from a local source and making it available in multiple formats and locations. Its equipment can send information to the engine control room, the bridge, or the next continent where a fleet manager can review data and help crews make appropriate operational and business decisions.

Data can include an e-mail to a service / supervision resource at an event, 24/7 monitoring, periodic data downloads, or combinations thereof.
