Condition Analyzing Corporation (CAC) is a leader in maritime vibration analysis, condition monitoring and web-based vibration monitoring. We provide our clients with the following services:
To ensure we can perform these services successfully we have a top-flight staff of engineers and technicians to meet your needs. Over the years we have also developed excellent online access to quickly allow you, the customer, to find critical information. This speeds up workflow and delivers reports anywhere instantaneously via the Internet using a standard web browser. Customized vibration condition monitoring programsCAC develops, operates and manages numerous customized vibration condition monitoring programs designed for the individual needs of our clientele. CAC has an online database consisting of hundreds of plants and vessels. Our condition monitoring programs are a collection of non-invasive data gathering and analysis techniques that greatly reduce the likelihood of unplanned equipment failures while also reducing the need for expensive planned maintenance (PM) programs. Vibration analysis servicesCauses of machinery failure exhibit unique vibration characteristics and, as internal material conditions deteriorate, the characteristics become more pronounced. Early detection is both critical and cost efficient. We have over 25 years of marine experience in identifying these particular characteristics in their early stages. We both identify machinery problems and, equally importantly, identify those machine which are running acceptably and not in need of repair. Our vibration analysis services are an economical and effective means of reducing the cost of maintenance procedures. Thermographic surveys of electrical distribution equipmentOur thermographic (infrared) surveys serve as a non-destructive tool in the analysis and evaluation of electrical distribution equipment critical to the operation of the plant. Thermographic surveys are also useful in the detection of boiler lagging deficiencies, faulty bearings, steam trap effectiveness and motor insulation. Thermography is a widely used tool in all facets of industry to measure anywhere a fault can be predicted by a temperature differential. Mode shape and operation deflection shapeBoth mode shape and operation deflection shape (ODS) display the vibration on a drawing or picture of a machine. Mode shape (based on the inherent resonance of a structure) can be determined if a hammer or bump test can produce those frequencies on the machine when not in use. ODS (based on the source frequencies and the resonance frequencies) can be determined from roving and reference measurements on the machine while in actual use. Approved vibration analysis programsCAC's programs are approved by various regulatory agencies. We can provide these agencies and others with annual reports to obtain 'open and inspect waivers' for our clients based on their respective predictive maintenance techniques. Vibration analysis clientsOur clients include Fortune 500 companies, as well as the following:
