MARINE TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE SWITCHES

We provide the following temperature switches ideal for marine applications:

• KPS and CAS temperature and pressure switches - special attention has been given to meeting demands for a high level of enclosure, robust, compact construction and resistance to shock and vibration
• RT temperature and pressure switches - consist of a variety of ordinary controls including neutral zone temperature and pressure switches
• MBC compact temperature and pressure switches - designed according to our new block design to survive in the harsh conditions known in machine rooms on-board ships

MARITIME TEMPERATURE SENSORS

Temperature sensors designed for marine applications include:

• MBT 153 - a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling cooling water and ventilation systems
• MBT 5111, 5112, 5113 and 5116 - heavy-duty temperature sensors that can be used for measuring and regulating exhaust gas from diesel engines, turbines and compressors
• MBT 5250, 5252, 5253 and 5260 - heavy-duty temperature sensors that can be used for controlling cooling water, lubrication oil, hydraulic oil and refrigeration plants
• MBT 5310 - a marine approved temperature sensor specially designed for measuring bearing temperatures
• MBT 5410 - a heavy-duty temperature sensor that can be used for controlling freezing installations and room temperature

MARINE PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS

Danfoss' pressure transmitters designed for marine applications include:

• MBS 33M, 3100 (compact) and 5100 (block type) and EMP 2 - ship-approved pressure transmitters, designed for use in almost all marine applications; offer reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions
• MBS 5150 - ship-approved high accuracy pressure transmitter in a box design, for use in marine applications with severe medium influences like cavitation, liquid hammer or pressure peaks

SOLENOID VALVES FOR SHIP FLUID AND GAS CONTROL

Danfoss solenoid valves provide a simple solution for the control and regulation of fluids and gases. Especially suited for:

• Media with low dirt content
• Moderate flow quantities
• Moderate differential pressure

Solenoid valves include:

• EV224B for high-pressure air up to 40 bars - available in NC and NO version, for example for fast speed up of turbochargers (jet assist), but also for start air devices with or without manual emergency push button; is also especially suitable for high-pressure start air compressors
• EV310B as pilot valve for start air devices - a specially designed manual push button secures a reliable emergency start when the power supply is gone
