Elecmec

Elecmec - Ship Automation and Controls

Elecmec was incorporated in 1989, and has since developed into a world leader in maritime automation. Today the company boasts an engineering team with over 20 years' experience in maritime electrical and control engineering. Our primary maritime activities are:

  • Design and manufacture of vessel motion control systems
  • Design and manufacture of integrated maritime alarm, monitoring and control systems (IMACS)
  • Service and maintenance of vessel automation and electrical systems
  • Upgrades to motion control and automation systems
  • Ship electrical and automation engineering consultant services

iSHIP - INTEGRATED SHIP MONITORING, ALARM AND CONTROL SYSTEM

iShip, the intelligent, intuitive integrated ship monitoring, alarm and control system, puts the vessel in control of the operator.

  • Global hardware and software support
  • User friendly intuitive graphical interface
  • Common readily available hardware

iShip uses an open architecture philosophy based on Marine Approved off-the-shelf hardware. Elecmec is a systems integrator for major hardware and software suppliers. These alliances enable iShip to evolve with leading edge technology as it is applied to the industrial sector. Customers are not held to ransom by proprietary suppliers. Our hardware is specifically selected with worldwide availability, simplicity and support in mind.

iShip's total integration allows a tailored system to be developed rapidly in concurrence with the vessel design. The shipyard gains the flexibility to align the system with specific vessel performance specifications and the majority of the vessel's systems can be integrated and tested off line, reducing 'on vessel' labour and commissioning time.
