MARATHON

Marathon is a line of cam-ring motors with a rotating hollow shaft. Marathon is the obvious choice for tough industrial applications and provides many years of reliable service.

• Torque: up to 1 400 000 Nm / 1 000 000 lbf·ft
• Speed range: up to 130 rpm.

VIKING

Viking is a line of cam-ring motors with a rotating housing. The Viking motor offers the best tension control available, and is applied in many winch systems in marine and industrial applications.

• Torque: up to 151 000 Nm / 110 000 lbf·ft
• Speed range: up to 200 rpm.

COMPACT

Compact is a line of cam-ring motors with a rotating hollow shaft. The Compact motor is a tough and powerful solution for many industrial and marine applications. It is compact, versatile and with an unbeatable power to weight ratio.

• Torque: up to 73 500 Nm / 53 000 lbf·ft
• Speed range: up to 280 rpm.

POWER UNIT

CONTROL SYSTEMS

Spider is a modern configurable micro-controller based drive control & health monitoring system. The MCA is an advanced PLC machine control system.

MARINE AND OFFSHORE

Around the clock, seven days a week, all year round, under extremely demanding conditions and often nautical miles away from shore. Under these circumstances strength, reliability and durability are key considerations and like all successful undertakings there is always a need to increase efficiency, lower maintenance costs and reduce energy consumption. Hydraulic motors from Hägglunds are also used for the steering of luxury cruisers. The diesel or turbine-electric drive system has an approx. 15- to 25,000 HP electrical motor built into the actual propeller housing. The steering works in such a way that the entire propeller housing can be turned right round, i.e. through 360 degrees, driven by hydraulic motors from Hägglunds. This means that the conventional rudder has been completely replaced.
