Nicotra Gebhardt - Marine and Offshore Process-Air Fan Systems

Nicotra Gebhardt specialises in process-air fan systems for marine, oil and gas, petrol chemical, other industrial, and comfort air applications, and also for ship and offshore use. The rugged fan systems can withstand pressures of well over 10,000Pa and permanent 500°C temperature. Different corrosion protection systems including stainless-steel design are possible, and these rugged fan systems meet ATEX Category 2 and 3 requirements for gas and dust. Gas-tight fans are possible.

Nicotra Gebhardt supplies these systems to customer requirements for many sectors, including surface finishing technology, heating and power plants including windmills, textile technology, the shipbuilding industry, and the food industry. High functional safety and minimal operating costs are significant criteria, as are short, reliable delivery times.

Standard and customized process-air fan systems

Nicotra Gebhardt's standardised fan series comes with a wide range of possible variants. Its ultra-modern selection program Pro Selecta++ is easy to operate, gives reliable support for selection and provides accurate scale drawings which the customers can take over directly into their CAD systems for planning purposes.

If Nicotra Gebhardt's customers build standardised machines or plants for which they always require a large number of the same fan system, the company's customer-specific system solutions are ideal. Single-intake centrifugal fans

The P2M kompakt single-intake centrifugal fan is direct driven. It has a rectangular casing and backward-curved blades. Of a robust welded design, it has a compact, space-saving concept. High economical benefits are provided by low investment cost and reduced operational costs.

It can be used in production and environmental machines, including marine application units, spraying booths or offshore units. This single-intake centrifugal fan is also ideal for air conditioning units requiring special conditions regarding temperature, corrosion protection, pressure level and conveying of specially loaded air.

P4 standard single-intake centrifugal fans have direct-drive, coupling or belt-drive arrangement, scroll square casing and an impeller with backward curved blades. Of robust welded design, this single-intake centrifugal fan has many standard uses, including exhaust, dust removal and marine applications, and as painting plants' drying technology.

Gas-tight fans

The P7 gas-tight fan is used for the most demanding solutions in tightness and corrosion protection. It features:

Industrial plug fans

The plug fans of the Q2M series are used for integration with mounting plates or frames. They have direct drive, an impeller with backward curved blades, a robust, welded design and can be customized to customers' required executions.

For conveying hot air, different models of Q2M plug fans are available for 100°C, 250°C, 300°C and 500°C with Thermolock 50 Insulation. They are fitted in installations where hot air has to be circulated, such as air-type drying plants or ovens of any kind.

Premium corrosion protection system for air fans

Class P100 corrosion-protective air fans are designed specially for marine applications. This thermoplastic powder coating consists of a single component and can be used for fan components not exceeding dimensions of 2,000mm (length) × 1,400mm (width) × 1,600mm (height), and that are made of blank or galvanised steel and aluminium.

Features include:

• Degreasing and iron phosphating
• Thermoplastic powder coating
• Total layer thickness of about 100μm

High-temperature corrosion-protection system for air fans

Class H high-temperature corrosion-protected fans fit a temperature range up to 500°C, and feature:

• Degreasing
• Wet lacquer high-temperature primer based on silicon raisin that can only be applied to fan components made of blank steel
