Performance-proven Dex-O-Tex underlayments / screeds are used throughout the marine industry to fill and fair off irregularities of deck plates before the installation of polymeric deck coverings as well as prefabricated coverings of uniform thickness such as resilient tile and sheet goods, ceramic tile or carpet. They are also used to create pitch in the deck for drainage, for ramping, or to make up transition thickness where thicker decking adjoins. Dex-O-Tex underlayments / screeds provide excellent adhesion to prepared steel and do not require any type of mechanical anchorage.

DECKLITE UNDERLAYMENT SYSTEM

Dex-O-Tex Decklite® is a trowel-applied magnesium oxychloride cement (magnesite) deck underlayment system that is lightweight, fire resistant and both sound and heat insulating. It is ideal for use over engine rooms, bulk fuel tanks and in living quarters on offshore drilling rigs. It is also available in a non-sparking formulation for use between channels of floors in cargo ammunition holds.

LONG WEARING, DECORATIVE, POLYMERIC DECKING

Dex-O-Tex polymeric decking is available in a trowel-applied marble chip type or in a roll / seed / roll broadcast type that incorporates quartz aggregate or vinyl chip. The net result is flooring or decking that is long wearing, yet highly decorative. These systems are available in a wide range of colors (see our website for color selections).

ELASTEX CORROSION RESISTANT DECK COVERING

Dex-O-Tex Elastatex® is a resilient exterior deck covering that acts both as an excellent walking surface and a corrosion resistant membrane. It is a thick film elastomeric polyurethane that incorporates rubber granules protected by a durable aliphatic urethane topcoat. Dex-O-Tex Elastaguard® is an epoxy / polyurethane hybrid system designed to protect steel surfaces prior to the application of finished deck coverings.
