Fiberoptic Lighting Inc. (FLI) is a 22 year old company that specializes in creating signs and designs using fiber optics as the graphic medium. The fiber optic strands carry the colours from an especially encoded disc to the front of the display. This allows for changing colours and implied motion.

LOW-ENERGY FIBER OPTIC LIGHTING

Fiber optics adds sizzle and attention to any area. As it appears brighter and more visible from a distance, it is a perfect medium through which to attract, guide and entertain passengers on a ship. Fiber optic signs don't break, meaning that they are suitable for applications on ships, and it uses very little electricity, meaning that minimum impact on the environment is caused.

SHIP CASINO LIGHTING DISPLAYS

Our fiber optic lighting displays can be used as a way-finding method, or to attract business for vendor or branded stores and they also help to enhance creativity for themed environments or ship entertainment areas. They can be designed to provide a backdrop or proscenium signs for stages. We have the ability to develop wonderful logos for restaurants and spas, and signs that create excitement in casino areas. Our fiber optic creations enchant children of all ages, and are perfect for onboard family areas.

CEILING FIBER OPTICS

We design and create fiber optic lighting displays for ceilings, such as a starfield or fireworks, or both. On a practical level we construct fiber optic light stair risers which can be used to enhance safety lighting in dark areas, or to brighten countertops in the ship bar.

Another unique application of our products is the placement of the fiber optics behind glass brick in elegant onboard suites, this can be used to illuminate a shower. We can utilise light and motion instead of other static media to, for example, create an interactive map of the ship.

FIBER OPTIC DISPLAY BOARDS

Educate with interpretive displays using interactive technology and fiber optic effects – you can show migratory paths of whales, ocean currents, nesting locations of birds, population dispersal of tribes in foreign lands.
