MPE Interiors provides shipbuilding repair, conversion and interior design services for the commercial marine and cruise line industries. Combining over 30 years of experience with our own modern and highly-technical manufacturing resources, our team includes:

Ship interior design and refitting

MPE Interiors can perform full renovation, from complete strip-out to entire refit, logistics services and project management. We are also well-experienced in large-scale commercial marine projects such as onboard leisure facilities, hotels, bars, restaurants and retail stores.

Our installation services include the supply, manufacture and installation of furniture, approved panel systems and doors, soft furnishings, decorating and deck covering, public spaces, passenger and crew accommodation. MPE is also able to fit specialised installations such as galleys, serveries and refrigerated storage, shops, workshops and laboratories.

Extension services and deck covering

MPE can install extension services such as HVAC and fire protection in existing fittings, as well as performing adaptions and upgrades to consoles and technical areas, thus making it easy to comply with the various marine standards and certificates.

MPE is specialised in deck coverings, including painting and decorating inclusive of special wall application materials, existing boundary refurbishment, protection and cleaning services for all installations, and electric installations within accommodation areas.

Marine subcontractors

While MPE is specialised in all aspects of ship outfitting we also commission various independent marine specialists, to provide the best possible service at every stage of the project. Our customers have full approval of the subcontractors we provide, and our specialist project management team liaises between the client and service provider to ensure a smooth inclusion of their services into the project. By making sure job disruption is kept to an absolute minimum, MPE can ensure its clients' peace of mind and the freedom to deal with other demanding priorities.

Consultation and technical services

MPE and our affiliated subcontractors can draw up blueprints, reconstruction plans for existing installations, structural arrangements for specified services, and AutoCAD drawings. MPE will quantify the clients' requirements and produce plans and quotations in a clear format.

Vessel repair and maintenance

As a well-experienced ship outfitting service provider we know first-hand the wear and tear that occurs on well-used commercial vessels, and how important it is that your vessel continues safe and efficient service. We make ourselves available to our customers at short notice to provide reconditioning and repair, supply of spare parts, repair of broken or worn equipment, furniture and upholstery, to ensure that our clients can be back up and running in no time.

Quality assurance

MPE follows a comprehensive quality management system, compliant to ISO 9001:2008, and successfully achieved UKAS accreditation in 2009.
