FOLKBOMMEN BOATBEAM FOR FIXED AND FLOATING DOCKS

Folkbommen is a boatbeam delivered as a building-kit, with easy assembly. All handling from freight, unloading, carrying to the dock and mounting is a simple task. Building together and mounting onto the dock will take approximately 10-15 minutes per piece. Folkbommen is delivered with adjustable floats (vertically) to make sure it will always lay horizontally in the water despite the free board of the dock, it can therefore not only be mounted on floating docks but onto fixed docks as well.

Folkbommen can be equipped at any time with different accessories e.g. plastic covers for protecting the boat, metal or wooden deck in the Y-delta only or walkable deck for the whole body. (0.4m or 0.6m wide)

BOATBEAM BODIES

For your service and convenience we have also an exchange of boatbeam bodies. This system will give a lower cost for the boat owner who is changing to a bigger or a smaller boat and would need other boatbeams to fit the new boat.

Walkable boatbeams are available in 4.5m, 6.0m, 8.0m and 10.0m. The deck for the 4.5m boatbeams are in standard pieces, Y-module, standard-module and add-on-module, for 6.0m, 8.0m and 10.0m one simply applies one, two or three add-on-modules accordingly.

COMPRESSED AIR FOAM SYSTEMS

The benefits of Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS) are well recognised within the industry. This system suppresses fire faster than water, poses less risk to the firefighter, uses less water and reduces damage to property.

Waterous has 15 foam systems currently available to the firefighting. These units are available as PTO-driven, or modular slide-ins and integrated cross-mounts with optional gas or diesel engines.

The premier CAFS unit is Eclipse. It is a midship pump-based compressed air foam system for firefighting. It delivers between 500 and 1,000 gallons per minute of aspirated foam or 200cFM of compressed air foam, in addition to up to 2,000GPM (7,600l/min) of water. Aspirated foam, CAFS and water can be used simultaneously, depending on alignment of discharges.

Waterous offers many choices that can be retrofitted to existing apparatus. All CAFS units are user-friendly and easy to maintain. And many accessories and options are available to complete your CAFS unit.

ANCHOR AND CABLE CHAINS

We also specialize in the supply of grade two,three and four marine stud and studless flash welded chains, ocean oil prospecting platform chains and mooring buoy chains with diameters ranging from 12.5mm to 152mm, along with matching accessories.

All products have been successfully approved by the world major classification societies, LR(UK), GL (Germany), ABS(US), DNV (Norway), NK (Japan), BV(France), RINA(Italy), RS(Russia, CCS(China), and KH (Korea). The offshore mooring chain has been licensed with API monogram. Products will be delivered with a product certificate issued by a classification society of customer's choice.

Our factory is certified to ISO 9000 standard, with advanced physical and chemical testing means as well as modern equipment for inspection.
