Lankhorst ranks as a leading rope manufacturer worldwide and produces a wide range of rope and wire for marine purposes such as mooring and anchoring. Products include bi-constituent and combination fibre rope, mooring wire and multistrand hoisting and luffing wires.

The roots of Lankhorst span as far back as 1751, to the establishment of a ropewalk and sail maker's loft. In the 19th and 20th centuries, Lankhorst developed from a local artisan business into a worldwide operating concern.

Attention to product development and in-house production have enabled Lankhorst to build a strong market position in the maritime industry amongst others. The maritime industry is serviced by our dedicated Maritime Division in Sneek and further sales points in Rotterdam and the UK.

Lankhorst produces 6x37 and 6x36 mooring wire, with fibre core and independent wire rope core.
