During 2013, SeaQuest site teams were involved in the supervision of twelve new building projects, the majority in South Korea, delivering a total of 15 vessels with orders for further vessels ongoing for deliveries this year and 2015.

Vessels that were delivered include the Suezmax crude oil tankers, LR2 and MR product carriers, Kamsarmax and handy size bulk carriers, as well as the 50K DWT CO-ROs, which is said to be the largest vessel to have been built at a Korean yard.

Although the number of deliveries decreased in comparison with the previous record year – 35 vessels delivered in 2012 – the company still registered a more than satisfactory workload and look forward with optimism. In 2013, SeaQuest secured new building contracts for a further 31 vessels, from existing clients for repeating new building projects and four brand new clients.
