Five-axis propeller-blade milling machine

Alcopropeller's ultra-modern computer-controlled five-axis milling machine is programmed in accordance with so-called 'best fit-analysis' for total precision. With the aid of advanced laser scanning the propeller blades are matched against the original 3D drawings. CNC-driven control and measurement equipment guarantees end products that always meet customer requirements.

The propeller blades are finished using hand grinding, a hard-to-master craft in which the company has a proud tradition and recognized high competence. Alcopropeller is approved by all current classification societies and has held ISO 9001:2000 quality certification since 2007.
