Finnscrew are designers and manufacturers of quality marine propellers for use in a wide range of applications that include pleasure crafts, fishing and work boats and tug boats. Finnscrew quality marine propellers are now also available in serial production. We have developed a range of three, four and five bladed propeller models.

The designs were produced after careful examination of models already on market and employing our wide experience in custom design. The propellers feature improved efficiency and better cavitation properties thanks to their more sophisticated blade section type and pitch grading along the main radius. We also offer a comprehensive design and hydro-dynamical analysis services.

CUSTOMISED MARINE PROPELLERS AND SHAFTING

As well as our serial production marine propeller models, we offer customised fixed pitch marine propellers and shaftlines that can be built to meet exact client specifications. Through years of engineering design development we feel we are in a position to offer excellent services in this field.

All of our marine propellers are built using only the highest quality OEM casting components like CPP blades and hubs. Depending on the propulsion system, designs can be made for noncavitating, semicavitating and supercavitating conditions as well as for open, ducted and surface-piercing propellers. Our tailor-made design programmes based on circulation theories are constantly being upgraded to incorporate the latest technological advances.
