As 2012 came to a close, Swedish Chris-Marine, the well-known diesel engine care company, has solidified the largest sale in the company’s history.

The customer is the state-owned Ecuadorian company "Celec Termopischincha", who runs several power plants in Ecuador with at total capacity of 1.94 GW, which satisfies 61% of Ecuador’s current demand. The order meets the demands of four of Celec Termopischincha’s generating plants totaling 90 diesel engines of various types.

The order is a complete power-plant set-up according to Chris-Marine recommendations, including standard maintenance machines for spindles, seats and honing as well as the state-of-the-art fuel injector tester, VPA, and the engine parts cleaning tank, Ultrasonic 1000.

The massive order is the outcome of a general plan from Chris-Marine enabling the power plant customers to be much more independent of the standard service at their diesel engine power plants. In addition the high quality engine care products, Chris-Marine also offers to include advanced training for the power plants personnel in order to qualify their employees with enough
knowledge to run the plants confidently without interruptions.
