Sauer Goes East

25 September 2007

In September, Sauer won another large order for power stations in Eastern Europe. The contract is for 16 WP271L, which are required within the scope of the modernization of 12 hydroelectric power plants of different types. This project is being financed by the World Bank.

The scope of delivery includes the complete WP271L module on base frames including built-on microprocessor control systems, sensor controlled heating and sound absorbing covers. This unit provides our customers with a system which is ready for connection.

Delivery shall commence this year in series of four. The contract will ensure the reliable supply of compressed air in the field of power supply in Eastern Europe in the coming years and helps to further consolidate Sauer's position in the power station market.
