Hoyer Motors is boosting its activities in Sweden by hiring an experienced external sales professional. The appointment is a further step in the general powering up of Hoyer Motors in its mission to be the leading supplier of electric motors to Europe’s marine industry.

Sweden is Hoyer’s third-largest market, and both Hoyer Motors and Hoyer Transmissions wish to be positioned in this market. In Sweden the focus is on sale of electric motors primarily to the marine industry, but also to land-based industry.

“The high economic growth in Sweden, and the close relations between our countries, make Sweden an extremely attractive focus area for Hoyer. In addition, we wish to be locally present in Sweden, as in our other markets,” says Thomas Klausen, sales manager at Hoyer.

Adam Sverkén joins Hoyer from our competitor VEM Motors. A Swede resident in Sweden, Adam Sverkén has considerable experience with electric motors. Hoyer also has an internal sales representative, who naturally speaks fluent Swedish, to handle Swedish customers’ day-to-day activities.

“The appointment of a new key account manager in Sweden is a natural part of our growth strategy. With area sales manager Louis Svane, key account manager Adam Sverkén will contribute to the ongoing establishment of Hoyer Motors and Hoyer Transmissions as the preferred logistics partner for electric motors and standard transmission products,” says Thomas Klausen.
