Borg has ten years of market experience in producing a range of mechanical access control systems, marine locks and code door locks. With an emphasis on functionality, performance and quality Borg has strived to develop products that meet the specialist requirements of its customers. During this time the company has looked to move into market sectors where affordable access control had not been previously available. Marine mechanical access control systemsThe marine grade series offers a comprehensive range of mechanical access control systems that have been developed specifically for marine and shipping applications whereby compliance to the ISPS code is essential, and is now acknowledged by many leading ship owners, management companies and marine suppliers worldwide. Standalone mechanical marine locks and code door locksOur aim is to provide a cost-effective means of controlling access to sensitive areas through standalone mechanical marine locks and code door locks. We are well aware that there are many situations where it is not possible or practical to install electronic door controls. For this reason Borg has developed its marine locks and code door locks with a number of significant and specific modifications to ensure longevity and trouble-free operation when fitted to even the harshest of conditions. Manufactured to the highest standards using stainless-steel for all of the internal components, the marine series of code door locks has undergone extensive testing to ensure that the coding chamber is resistant to saltwater corrosion. The exterior bodies have been chrome-plated using a five-layer process that is guaranteed to last for at least two years under the most arduous of conditions. Marine locks and access control systemsAll marine grade Borg Locks marine locks and access control systems offer the following features:
On-deck access control systemsThe BL2601 on-deck access control system is based upon the popular BL2000 series and offers the ideal solution for smaller doors that have a lower footfall. Supplied complete with a cover that encases the keypad, the BL2601 access control system is suitable for on-deck locations. The BL2605 access control system provides the same exterior keypad but with a rim deadbolt inside handle that is ideal for situations where a mortised latch is not appropriate. The BL 2701 offers the same features as the BL2601 but with the added benefit of a concealed key override. The BL2701 access control system is supplied with a 60mm tubular latch. Heavy code door lock access control systemsThe BL5200 series of heavy code door locks use a short, straight handle design. Intended for the most heavy-duty applications, the BL5200 is supplied un-clutched and with the free passage feature removed, making it ideal for use with a wide variety of heavier sprung door locks. BL5201 code door locks are supplied complete with a free passage feature and our own 60mm tubular latch; these code door locks are clutched to protect the coding chamber from damage.
