Stainless steel locks and master key systems
VingCard Marine supplies a complete range of marine stainless steel locks for A-class and B-class doors, which meets all fire class requirements, and a wide range of stainless steel and brass accessories.
The company also provides customized TrioVing master key systems suitable for all types of vessels. These systems have VingCard cylinders with various security levels, CLIQ technology consisting of a high security cylinder with a memory chip and a corresponding memory chip in the key, and padlocks.
Re-codable card-operated locks
VingCard Marine introduced the world’s first re-codable mechanical card lock system in 1979. The range now includes electromechanical locks operated by magnetic stripe cards and touchless RFID cards. VingCard locks are available for both A-class and B-class doors and, in addition, card-operated remote controllers can control a large range of electromechanical locking devices.
The VingCard system may be interfaced to most reservation systems and on-board management systems. A wide range of keycard printers is available for issuing both cardboard and plastic keycards.
Marine safety and access control systems
VingCard Marine provides a wide range of access control systems for ships. The GangwayControl registers and identifies crew, passengers and visitors on the gangway, and produces real time status reports of who is on-board. The Muster station registers and provides real time tracking of persons during safety drills and emergencies.
KeyMaker customises the design of ID, boarding and keycards. Online access control consists of a door control panel that is operated from one point, e.g. the bridge, and connected to a predefined number of doors. This provides individual door control and instant emergency locking.
