Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) requirements state that marine distress signals must be tested and approved at temperatures of -30°C, but leading global brand Comet has tested its Manoverboard and Linethrower products to -40°C. This is particularly important for Comet to meet the requirements of the Russian market and develop its sales base.

"Comet products are at the forefront of marine safety," says product manager Keith Bradford. "Its no wonder they are trusted by the worlds navies, commercial craft and leisure sailors. After all, when you specify lifesaving equipment for your vessel, you need to know beyond any doubt that it is the most reliable and cost-effective available. With Comet advanced pyrotechnic marine distress signals, you can be sure you have made the right choice."
