Since 1985 Daniamant ApS has manufactured IMO/Solas certified lights and over the years it has expanded its range of lights to cover all the requirements for emergency lifejacket and life raft lights including various attachments and functions. The emphasis on easy attachment and competitive pricing has made Daniamant one of the major suppliers of emergency lights. All the lights are European EC/MED (Wheel mark), US Coast Guard certified, as well as in number of other countries. LIGHTS FOR LIFEJACKETSRescue-Dan M1: the light is a single compact flashing unit. It is manually activated by rotation of the light glass. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap and one to go over a 5cm belt, the sleeves on the bottom of the lights allow straps to go through for retro-fitting on jackets not prepared for light attachment. Lights can also be supplied with a pull ring arrangement for survival suits. Rescue-Dan W1: this is the automatic version of Rescue-Dan M. The light activates automatically when in water and stays activated even if the light is positioned on the jacket above the water. The light has the same attachment arrangement as Rescue-Dan M. Rescue-Dan D: this light is also a single unit version but with a steady light. It is larger than Rescue-Dan M and has the same attachment arrangement as Rescue-Dan M. Rescue-Dan MR: 'MR' is the recess version of the Rescue-Dan M. This light has a special fitting/clip design for attachment to a lifejacket so that only the glass is above the fabric on the jacket. The light is specially designed for lifejackets used on passenger vessels with excavation or chute systems for mass evacuation of passengers. Rescue-Dan WR: 'WR' is the automatic recess version of Rescue-Dan W. With a special fitting arrangement the light is completely embedded in a lifejacket with only the glass above the fabric. Rescue-Sun: this light is the only version Daniamant has with a lead between the battery and the lamp. The light is manually activated with ring pull. The light is steady. The lifejacket needs a pocket to hold the battery. It can be supplied with a pocket holder with strap for attachment. LIGHTS FOR LIFE RAFTS AND SURVIVAL CRAFTSExternal light type Rescue-Master 2B: the light has two parts, a battery and lamp, which can be supplied separately. The lead length on the lamp is custom made. The light flashes to reduce battery power and heat from the lamp. The lamp exceeds light intensity requirements of 4.3cd for 12 hours. The battery is automatically activated when the activation pin is pulled out of the battery during inflation of a life raft. External light type Rescue-Master 3B: the light is identical to Rescue-Master 2B, but has a larger battery housing. Internal light type Rescue-Master 1: the light has two parts, a battery and lamp, which can be supplied separately. The lead length on the lamp is custom made. The light is steady and sufficient for 12 hours to read the instruction. The light intensity is minimum 0.3cd. The battery can be automatically activated by pulling the activation pin out of the battery during inflation of the life raft. Internal light type Rescue-Lite GB: the light is identical to Rescue-Master 1. Internal light type Rescue-Dan R.INT1: this is a single unit light small in design complete with battery and lamp. The light is steady for over 12 hours and sufficient to read the instructions. The light is activated automatically during inflation of a life raft. External 12V lamp type Rescue-Master 12V: This is an external lamp specially designed for rigid survival craft with its own motor and 12V battery. It provides a flashing light intensity of more than 4.3cd in all directions and the bulb has a life of more than 200 hours. External light type Rescue-Dan R.EXT: This is the latest design of external light for survival crafts. It is slim in design and very cost effective. It is in two parts (battery and lamp) and provides more than 4.3cd in all directions for a minimum of 12 hours. There is an option for a specially-designed backing plate, which makes it easy to change batteries after five years' shelf life. This backing plate can also be used for Internal light type Rescue-Dan R.INT1.
