Chemring Marine Succeeds at WorkBoat International ShowComet
Chemring Marine, the world's leading marine distress signal company, has attended the International WorkBoat Show in America. Managing director Justine Heeley and Americas sales manager James Chandler met Comet US distributor Gulf Marine, which was exhibiting at the New Orleans Show from 1-3 December 2010.
Justine says: "It was a really busy show for us and there was great interest in our comprehensive range of marine distress signals. We met many valued clients and customers and demand was strong."
The International WorkBoat Show, taking place at the LA Morial Convention Centre, is the largest commercial marine trade event in America. It attracted around 10,000 visitors and was praised by organisers as a resounding success.
Chemring Marine is the world's leading supplier of SOLAS, MED and USCG-approved marine distress signals to commercial and leisure marine markets through its Comet and Pains Wessex brands. Available through over 200 distributors in more than 80 countries, Chemring Marine's comprehensive range of products has been helping to save lives for more than 100 years and is specified by the world’s navies, merchant fleets, fishing vessels, rescue services, airlines and leisure craft. The company is based in Fareham, UK, and is part of the Chemring Group.
Chemring Marine is at the forefront of campaigning for improved global marine safety regulations, including introducing standardised rules on replacing dated safety products.
