Videos demonstrating the safe operation of Comet marine distress signals are now available in German and English from the Comet website.

German versions of the short instructional videos, which explain how to correctly handle and fire the marine distress signals, will be added to the English versions already online and are also available on DVD.

The specially commissioned training videos have been translated by German sales manager Holger Muegge, who says: “The videos are ideal for all of Comet’s German-speaking clients, from commercial ship officers to fishermen and sailors. They will be available 24 hours a day on our website, providing an invaluable training and instructional tool.”

The webcasts will include demonstrations on operating the following Comet products:

  • Red parachute signal rocket
  • Red hand flare
  • White hand falre
  • Compact and personal signal launchers

Pictorial and written operating instructions, as well as specifications and safety advice, are also provided on each product.
