Sales manager Chris Feibusch has met with Chemring Marine’s Far East distributors for the first time and attended the Sea Asia show.

Chemring Marine is the world’s leading supplier of SOLAS, MED and USCG-approved marine distress signals to commercial and leisure marine markets through its Comet brand.

Among Comet distributors that Chris visited were the Viking Service Station and FD Rareodd in Singapore.

Chris had positive meetings with each distributor and discussed growth opportunities, sales and marketing strategy and logistics.

He also visited the Sea Asia maritime conference and exhibition at Singapore in April where he had some excellent business discussions and met with South Korean distributor, Kosco.

Chris says, “It was my first trip out there and I really enjoyed meeting the Comet distributors. The Far East is an important region for Chemring Marine and there are significant growth opportunities.”

Chris, an experienced distribution professional, joined Chemring Marine last autumn as Sales Manager with responsibility for the UK and Ireland, Southern Europe and the Far East.

Sea Asia, the area’s premier maritime conference and exhibition, was attended by CEOs, presidents, decision-makers and maritime professionals from diverse sectors of the global shipping industry.

Available through over 200 distributors in more than 80 countries, Chemring Marine’s comprehensive range of products has been helping to save lives for more than 100 years and is specified by the world’s navies, merchant fleets, fishing vessels, rescue services, airlines and leisure craft. The company is based in Fareham, UK, and is part of the Chemring Group.

Chemring Marine is at the forefront of campaigning for improved global marine safety regulations, including introducing standardised rules on replacing dated safety products.
