Chemring Marine, the world’s top marine distress signal company, has had a busy Nor-Shipping show marketing products and networking.

The company exhibited its world-leading Pains Wessex marine distress signals at the bi-annual show in Oslo, Norway, from 24-27 May.

Managing director Justine Heeley, marketing coordinator Victoria Jones and sales managers Holger Muegge and Chris Feibusch manned the Chemring Marine stand C03-02m and met clients, distributors and key contacts.

Chemring Marine is the world’s leading supplier of SOLAS, MED & USCG-approved marine distress signals to commercial and leisure marine markets. The company, part of the Chemring Group PLC, is based in Whiteley, near Fareham.
Justine says, “It was great to meet with so many of our distributors who attended from Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Scandinavia, France and Spain.”

Marketing coordinator Victoria Jones, attending Nor-Shipping for the first time, says, “We had a very positive show. It is clearly all about networking.”
Nor-Shipping is held every two years and preliminary figures suggest it attracted almost 35,000 maritime and offshore professionals from more than 50 countries around the world.
