The world’s leading brand of marine distress signals, Pains Wessex, has appointed a new Dutch distributor.

The Netherlands’ premier distributor of marine equipment, On-Deck – based in Weteringbrug – will be responsible for selling the Pains Wessex range into Holland’s leisure market.

Holger Mügge, Pains Wessex Global Key Account Manager, says, "We welcome On-Deck into our global distributor network and look forward to seeing growing sales of Pains Wessex products in the Netherlands.

"On-Deck has significant experience in selling top brands and has excellent contacts within the Dutch leisure marine market so we are confident it is the perfect partner for us."

On-Deck is one of the biggest marine distributors in the Netherlands. General Manager, Ben van Dullemen, says, "Pains Wessex products are an important new addition to our offer and complement our selection of best-in-class brands, such as Harken deck equipment, Marlow ropes and Dan-Fender. We are delighted to be appointed as its Dutch distributor and look forward to working together to increase sales."

Pains Wessex’s marine distress signals will be available from On-Deck from April 1 2013 for the beginning of the European leisure marine season.
