On 19 April 2016, the Samunder Club of Houston will hold its Spring Technical Roundtable, featuring guest speaker Hans Haneveld, marine engineer and general manager of L.A. Maritime’s sister company, GC Maritime.

Co-sponsored by West Gulf Maritime Association, this session is called ‘Challenges in Maritime Technology’ and focuses on today’s thorniest environmental and safety issues, ballast water treatment, climate change, and marine emissions.

Mr Haneveld’s presentation, ‘Solution to Ballast Water Treatment’ details a method already approved by the USCG as an Alternate Management System – BSKY.

  • COP 21 and Maritime Emissions
  • SMFF and portable foam nozzles

The Samunder Spring Technical Roundtable will be held at the offices of West Gulf Maritime Association (WGMA) at the Port of Houston in Houston, Texas. Attendance is by reservation only.
