Scanjet Marine

Scanjet Marine - Tank-Cleaning Machines

Scanjet Marine is the world's leading producer of tank-cleaning equipment for the marine, industrial and offshore market, delivering products to crude oil, product and chemical tankers, bulk carriers, VLCC drilling-rigs, and supply vessels. We have a complete range of equipment available for these markets.

SINGLE OR TWIN-NOZZLE TANK-CLEANING MACHINES

Scanjet has a wide product range which fulfils all of our customers' different needs. Our single-nozzle tank-cleaning machines (such as SC 30T, SC 90T2 and SC 50T) give a very powerful jet.

Scanjet's twin-nozzle tank-cleaning machines (SC 15TW and SC 45TW), meanwhile, possess accessories that can be used either as a complement to our fixed systems or as a stand-alone system. Our range of accessories, whether it is hoses, hose connectors or adapters, Y-pieces, or valves, covers any type of installation.

The single-nozzle machines SC 30T, SC 90T2, SC 50T, and the twin-nozzle machine SC 40RT, have the drive unit placed outside the tank. This provides the user with a maintenance-free solution inside the tank.

TANK-CLEANING MACHINES WITH MAGNETIC COUPLING SYSTEM

Many of Scanjet's tank-cleaning machines are equipped with a unique patented magnetic-coupling system, which eliminates any leakage risk between the turbine and the gear / drive unit.

The Scanjet fixed-installation machines are equipped with unique magnetic-transmission, which ensures vessels are safe and suitable for long-term operation. This magnetic-transmission system has been successfully used on approximately 20,000 units in operation since 1995.

TANK-CLEANING MACHINE TEST PLANT

Scanjet can provide its clients with a skilled and efficient worldwide network of sales and service representatives.

Spare parts are produced in-house at our own factory, and therefore available at any time thanks to our 24-hour service. We also have a test plant for our clients with facilities for full-scale testing of machines. The machines are approved by all major classification societies, including DNV, Lloyds, ABS, GL, NK, BV, RINA, KR, CCS and RR.

MODERN AND EFFICIENT TANK-CLEANING TECHNOLOGY

All production is undertaken in our own factory in Sjöbo, Sweden. Our sales / marketing and project department is situated in Gothenburg. Our production capacity exceeds 10,000 tank-cleaning machines per year, and we also deliver more than 250 complete shipsets per annum to the new-building market.

Full design and specification service to the shipowner's technical department is given as standard by our in-house project department both prior to and during the building of a vessel. The excellent cleaning result is ensured by computerised and documented shadow-diagram studies.

We are always ready to assist in providing optimised technical specifications prior to installation, ensuring that our clients will receive a Scanjet tank-cleaning machine which will consist of the most modern and efficient tank-cleaning technology available.
