This is an important milestone and will be great news for introduction at exhibitions and conferences throughout the year, the company said.
According to Optimarin, EX approval opens up a wider horizon for Optimarin sales as there are approximately 10,000 vessels in its market range, which require EX certified ballast water treatment systems (BWTS).
