GC Rieber Cancels New Build

Norwegian shipowner GC Rieber Shipping has cancelled a new build contract due to “significant” delays in delivery.
The project was ordered in May 2008 by Polar Marine, a joint venture between GC Rieber and Otto Marine.
The payment made by GC Rieber is covered by a refund guarantee.
