Deals this week: Sany Port Machinery, Wärtsilä, Mv Werften
Sany Port Machinery, a subsidiary of Sany Group, has won a $7.5m contract to supply 31 units of mobile port machinery to King Abdul Aziz Port.
Based in China, Sany Port Machinery manufactures high-performance logistics equipment. The port is located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Wärtsilä has signed a joint co-operation agreement with Gasum to develop liquefied natural gas (LNG) for marine and onshore applications.
Gasum is an expert in natural gas, while Wärtsilä manufactures and develops power sources for the marine and energy markets.
Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in Finland.
Mv Werften has signed a letter of intent with Foreship to design and build a series of Polar-class luxury expedition vessels. Both companies specialise in ship design and engineering.
Mv Werften is a based in Germany, whereas Foreship is based in Finland.
