The R 230 projectile meets the Solas 74 requirements. It is re-usable, does not have an expiry date, and is not classified as dangerous goods. The line is stored inside the projectile. The Solas-approved set is called PLT R 230 Basic.
The PLT® R 230 Basic is the only Solas-approved, non-dangerous line throwing apparatus (LTA) on the market.
