SEAB Marine to Launch New Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS)

SEAB Marine AB is launching an innovative new bridge navigational watch alarm system (BNWAS).

After an intensive development programme, we now have the pleasure to launch a system that is based on the latest cutting-edge technology.

Our base for the system is a well proven PLC connected with a touch screen. The BNWAS system is called DMA and it is easy to install and simple to operate. All commands are done on the touch screen and for convenience of the OOW, users can operate additional reset units and/or motion sensors. The only thing that has to be added is Alarm Units. These can be placed in the backup officer’s cabins and in the common crew areas.

SEAB Marine AB has chosen proven components suppliers, with ABB our main provider. This guarantees a high quality product and gives customers access to a worldwide supplies network, making finding replacement parts simple. SEAB’s main goal when choosing suppliers has been quality before cost.

The new system is very competitively priced and we can offer everything from just delivery to turn key projects, including installation and commissioning anywhere in the World. We have also developed two products where the control unit is mounted, connected and tested in our factory. This is done on either a steel plate placed in the pulpit or in a cabinet to be wall-mounted when there is not enough space in the pulpit. This solution saves a lot of time when installing one of our DMA systems in your ship.
