How is it possible to complete both Polar Code Basic and Advanced with a two-day on-site training course? It is possible by completing the Polar Code Basic course online and the Advanced course on-site.
Aboa Mare offers on-site and web-based Basic level and on-site Advanced level training in accordance with the Polar Code training and IMO model courses. The Polar Code Basic and Advanced training are approved by the Finnish Maritime Authorities (Traficom). All training requirements set by STCW Code A-V/4 and IMO Model Course 7.11 and 7.12 are covered.
On request the on-site training can be delivered at our partner training premises GigaMare Training Centre in Subic Bay, Philippines or GMC Maritime Training Center in Piraeus, Greece. Contact us using the enquiry form below if you are interested in a tailor-made solution.
Aboa Mare also offers an Arctic Polar Code Survival Training Course. This is a two-day course in Kittilä, Finland, on how to survive in arctic temperatures as cold as -30 °C up to five days after evacuation. The course meets the minimum requirements for survival training in arctic conditions after a possible ship evacuation set by the Polar Code regulations.
