Wilhelm Sander position indicators are accepted by well-known classification societies. Distribution boxes contain solenoid-operated pilot valves for distribution of the high-pressure oil to the actuators and, if used, the volume indicators for measuring the position of the valves.
Remote position-indication systems
Wilhelm Sander offers two different remote position-indication systems:
- Direct indication via electric limit switches and proximity switches
- Potentiometers installed directly via the actuators
They are used for hydraulic, pneumatic or electric remote-controlled valves, indirect indication via volume indicator with digital or analogue indication, or pressure / flow controllers for hydraulic remote-controlled valves.
Hydraulic power units for central oil supply
The hydraulic power units for the central oil supply for remote-controlled valves work automatically in switched-off or idle-running operation. The arrangement of all components permits easy access for maintenance and inspection purposes. The pumps are arranged inside the tank for noiseless running. The standard series of power units are equipped with tanks of 75l, 150l, 220l and 400l tanks.

Wilhelm Sander’s remote control systems are used for the handling of valves in ballast, bilge, fuel oil, liquid cargo and LNG / LPG systems on seagoing ships. The main components are:
