DSME Secures Salvage Vessel Order

Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering has secured an order from South Korea's navy, worth KRW160bn ($140m), for a towage salvage vessel. The vessel, dubbed ATS-II, will have a length of 107m, breadth of 16.8m and depth of 8m, with an operating speed of up to 21 knots. I

The vessel, dubbed ATS-II, will have a length of 107m, breadth of 16.8m and depth of 8m, with an operating speed of up to 21 knots.

It will be constructed at Okpo shipyard and is scheduled for delivery by the end of 2013.
