Ulstein Verft Secures PSV Pair

Ulstein Verft has secured a contract from Ulstein Group to build two medium-sized platform supply vessels. The ships will have a length of 83.4m, a beam of 18m, a cargo deck of 875m2 and a load capacity of 4,200dwt. The ships can reach a speed of 15k but are optimised

Ulstein Verft has secured a contract from Ulstein Group to build two medium-sized platform supply vessels.

The ships will have a length of 83.4m, a beam of 18m, a cargo deck of 875m2 and a load capacity of 4,200dwt.

The ships can reach a speed of 15k but are optimised for low fuel consumption at 12kt.

The vessels will be delivered in Q1 and Q3 of 2012.

The Norway-based group has not revealed the financial details of the transaction.
