Conrad Secures Barge Orders

Conrad Industries has secured a contract from an undisclosed shipping company to build four 16,000-barrel LPG tank barges, six deck barges and a crane barge. The US shipbuilder has not disclosed the contract amount, however, it said Conrad’s backlog increased to $92.8m after the contract.

Conrad and its affiliates build and repair tugboats, ferries, lift boats, barges and offshore-support vessels and has four yards in southern Louisiana and Texas, US.
