Venezuela has placed an order for four Aframax-sized oil tankers with an undisclosed Japanese company.

The first ship will be delivered in early March. The second and third vessels will be delivered later this year while the fourth will be delivered in 2012.

The ships will be the first Japanese oil ships received by Venezuela in the last 30 years, according to The Wall Street Journal.
