CSC Yichang Secures Container Ship Quartet

China's CSC Yichang Shipyard has signed a CNY400m ($61m) contract with Damen Shipyards Yichang, a subsidiary of Damen Shipbuilding Group of Netherlands, to build four multipurpose container vessels. Each 8,200dwt vessel will have a length of 118.14m, width of 15.9m and draft of 8.8m. <

China's CSC Yichang Shipyard has signed a CNY400m ($61m) contract with Damen Shipyards Yichang, a subsidiary of Damen Shipbuilding Group of Netherlands, to build four multipurpose container vessels.

Each 8,200dwt vessel will have a length of 118.14m, width of 15.9m and draft of 8.8m.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery from May 2012 to April 2013, according to asiasis.com.
