Cargotec has received a contract to deliver MacGregor anchor-handling systems for two 12,000 BHP anchor-handling tug supply / oil recovery vessels in China.

The vessels are under construction at a Chinese Shipyard for an unnamed Singaporean owner.

The order includes anchor-handling / towing winches, anchor windlass mooring winches, tugger winches, capstans, storage reels, shark jaws / towing pins and telescopic deck cranes.

The anchor-handling equipment will be manufactured at Cargotec’s facilities in Singapore and China, and are scheduled for delivery at the end of 2011.

The anchor-handling towing winches have a 380t line pull and a 500t static brake, while their bollard pull is 150-160t.
