The contract includes an option of four additional container ships of the same class.
The container vessels will be 9,600teu each, with each vessel having a length of 332m, width of 48.2m and depth of 26.8m.
The new containerships are designed to carry containers 1ft taller than conventional containers and can carry 1,700 refrigerated containers, 1,000 more than other same-class vessels.
The containerships are scheduled for delivery between May 2013 and January 2014.
