Hamburg Süd and Aliança will restructure their UCLA Service which covers the east coast of South America, the Caribbean and Central America, and the US Gulf Coast, to offer more direct and reliable services, Hamburg Süd has announced.
The current service of 12 1,700 to 2,500 TEU vessels will be upgraded to include a modern tonnage and full port coverage. The first voyage under the new rotation will start on 7 June.
Hamburg is also introducing a new Intra-Caribbean service called the Aztec Service, which has three 1,700 TEU vessels. The service will start on 7 July.
